Prince has been picking up steam for the last few months, releasing songs and videos here and there, dropping in on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and putting on a show for concert-goers at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.  Now, his backing band, 3rd Eye Girl, has announced that they'll be performing a string of dates, and presumably, Prince will be leading the way.

The band said during a live stream chat this week with blogger Dr. Funkenberry that plans are in the early phase.  Still, the trio revealed specific dates for the trek, which they say kicks off April 15.  Prince and crew will do an early show and a late show during each stop, with concerts planned for Vancouver, BC; Seattle; San Francisco; Las Vegas; Tempe, Arizona; San Diego and Anaheim, California.

An official announcement hasn't been released, and more dates may be added.
