Now here's something you don't get to see every day: Prince rollerskating. 

It's true, the Purple One made his way around a skating rink, and Questlove witnessed the whole thing firsthand.  Now the Roots band leader is sharing his one-of-a-kind story, and many more -- including tales involving Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z and Dave Chapelle -- in his upcoming memoir Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove.

Music buff Quest, who's been teaching youngsters about classic albums at New York University, digs through the crates to uncover some major moments in black music and pop culture.  He scours decades of releases to highlight some of the music world's greatest originals, as well as some of the biggest fakes.

Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove arrives in stores on June 18.
